MUSIC CONCERT IN AID OF AUTISM AWARENESS

Pravin Mani, a noted Music Director will conduct Michael Jackson tribute concert - Heal the World on his birthday, August 29, 2009.
The concert is organized by the Rotary Club of Chennai Coastal and will be held at Wesley School Grounds, Royapettah.
This concert will support Autism Awareness and other allied projects. This show will feature a multitude of prominent playback singers such as Shanker, Ehsaan, Loy, Srinivas, Benny Dayal, Kartik, Sunitha Sarathy, Suresh Peters, Blaaze, Naresh Iyer, Suchitra, Suvi Suresh and Haricharan.
Eminent artists from the Western Music Fraternity such as Timothy Madhukar, Anu Cheyur, Milli, Sanjeev Thomas, Roshni, Kavitha Belagi featuring the KM Conservatory of Music Faculty and Choir, Andrea Jemaiah Trio and Pratika of the Little Theatre will be a part of the show. Some of India’s best musicians such as Viji Cheyur, Vasanth David, Allwyn, Natasha pinto, Leon James, Arjun Cheyur, Selvaganesh, Umashankar, Sudhin Prabhakar, Jim Satya, Vivienne Chauex, Mishko, Mathew will be performing for this event. Pravin Mani, Musical Director/Producer of the show, said "This will be the biggest western music concert that India would have ever witnessed." The show will be choreographed by John Britto and also feature the performance the dancers of JB Dance Academy. The show would be a 3 hour long event featuring some of the best technical talent and crew such KJ Singh, Shiran Mather, and Sid Krishnamurthi handling 20,000 watts of sound, over 300 lights and laser productions, Multiple AV screens, spectacular pyrotechnics which is expected to draw close to 15,000 people to the event. Sanjay Ramaswamy, President of Rotary Club, Chennai Coastal, said “We are more than happy in organizing this show as this is the first ever show that will support the cause of autism awareness in India. Autism Society of India appreciates the organizers and performers for promoting autism awareness through this mega event. This event will give the cause the much needed impetus to bring about qualitative changes. The highlight of the show is that it will be simultaneously tele-linked with Sharukh Khan’s MJ tribute show in Bombay and Usha Uthup’s MJ tribute show in Kochi in order to create a National campaign towards a worthy cause.
